Massachusetts allows full-term abortions…
Abortion up to 9 months is now fully legal in Massachusetts. Prior to the law, the procedure was unrestricted through 24 weeks.
On August 10, Governor Maura Healey signed the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act. The new statute allows abortion after 24 weeks.
The law also restricts third-party medical reviews from overriding the treating physician’s decision and relaxes certain facility and reporting rules.
Massachusetts already maintained broad protective statutes, including shield laws. The US is 1 of 7 countries which allow full term abortions on demand.
Timeless Truth
Absolutely disgusting and sickening to think that a fully grown baby can be aborted with no questions asked. This type of debauchery rivals that of Sodom and Gomorrah and the ancient civilizations who practiced this exact method of child sacrifice (Psalm 106:37-38).
If you watch this video, you see dozens of women cheering the fact that they can end a human life with no repercussions, we’ve seared our moral conscience (1 Timothy 4:2 & Ephesians 4:18-19).
Democrats claim to be the party that protects the innocent and the vulnerable and the marginalized, but they don’t. In fact, they commit the gravest atrocities against those who are the most vulnerable (Proverbs 31:8-9).
This is why 3rd wayism or mushy-middle Christianity does not work. You have one party who is actively legislating against the moral ethic of the Bible when it comes to life, gender, marriage, caring for the poor, etc.
No, Republicans are in no way God’s chosen party nor are they perfect, but they are not mass legislating the slaughter of innocent babies. The two are not the same and Christians have to stop acting like they are.
Life begins at conception, abortion in any way shape or form is wrong and should never be allowed (Psalm 139:13-16 & Jeremiah 1:5). All children, no matter the circumstance of situation in which they were conceived, are beautiful and worthy of life and dignity (Genesis 1:27). Simply put, abortion is murder and should be treated as such (Genesis 9:6).
This is just awful… Lord, have mercy on our nation for the wickedness which we allow.
Behind the Feed
So often Christians are the ones who constantly have our beliefs questioned and are always having to give and answer for what we believe, while the world can pushback on whatever and never have their beliefs questioned. It’s time for that to change.
In Tactics by Greg Koukl, Greg talks about his “Columbo” tactic which is meant to 1) gain clarification and 2) shift the “burden of proof” back onto the person making the claim.
His argument is that the person who makes the claim should be the one to defend it. So, for instance, if you’re in a conversation with someone and they say something like “Jesus only taught love and acceptance, nothing more. I hate when Christians seem so divisive between them and other religions. After all, all religions are equally true.
Well, this person has made 2 claims: 1) that Jesus only taught love and acceptance and 2) that all religions are equally true.
Here’s the catch, how you and I often navigate conversations like this is to instantly try and disprove these obviously false statements (which there is a time and place for that) but its often better to ask the claim maker to prove the truth of their claim.
You can ask “where did you get your facts on this” or “how did you come to you conclusion.” This puts the burden back on them and makes them prove what they said (which will often give you opportunities to present the truth) while also taking the pressure off of you.

Final Exhortation
We are called to live in this world, but not be of this world. Meaning, we are not to be shaped by this world but to actively shape this world according to what the word of God says.
Romans 12:2 says “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Father, I thank you for this week. I ask, Lord, that you would give the reader the boldness to have meaningful and impactful conversations about you with those around them. I ask, Lord, that whenever they are challenged in their faith that you would give them the words to speak. I thank you, Father, for all that you have done for us, may we serve you better than we did the before. In Jesus’ name, amen.
